Ravinder is doing wonderful as he is a huge help in preparing food for the children here.  He is also preparing to take his Tenth class exam and would appreciate all of your prayers.  He also had an accident the other day which created a gash on his head.  He went to the hospital and got stitches.  He just had the stitches removed yesterday and is recovering quite well.  Thank you for your continued support for this wonderful child of God.

Ravinder: Age: 15 years old: Ravinder is a very hard worker and enjoys serving others without complaint. He is quick to jump to a task and does it with humility. Ravinder also helps take care of the children, teaches them memory verses, and helps tutor them as well. He is very athletic, loves cricket and football (American soccer) and plays it with anyone who asks. Unfortunately, there is no space for him to play these games at the current facilities. He will be studying for the 10th class standard exams this year. Over the past year, Ravinder has grown a lot spiritually. He has not been baptized, but he as a growing relationship with Jesus. Right now he says that he would like to stay at Asha and help with the ministry, but in the future he might want to go to Bible college, pursue further schooling in a different field, or obtain a job in the workforce. Ravinder was born into a Hindu family in Bihar, in a tribal village with no modern technology, hospitals, or schools. Both of his parents are deceased. When he was seven years old, he went to Emmanual Orphanage in Chawla and transferred to Asha House a few years ago. He has two sisters in another children’s home and doesn’t have any contact with them. Ravinder has a facial deformity due to a childhood seizures; however an operation to fix this impairment is possible. Prayer Request: For Ravinder’s spiritual growth and his studies.
