Mithulesh will steel your heart with just a glance. He is so humble and gracious and is not afraid to call you down to his level and give you a kiss on the cheek! He is also one of the youngest boys here and is being well looked after by everyone. Please pray that he continues to accel at his studies here at the House, so that when he reaches the age to enter school he will be very succesful. |

Mithulesh Age: 4 years old Mithulesh is from a tribal village a Bihar, an area in India without electricity, hospitals, or schools. Both of his parents are still alive. His father actually has two wives and he is the child of the second wife. Mithulesh has one brothers and two sisters—two of which are also at Asha House (Munitha and Sunita). His Hindu parents are farmers and make approximately 800 rupees a month, which is about $16 USD. They cannot afford to take proper care of their children. Mithulesh has never gone to school. He only speaks a tribal language, so he needs to learn Hindi before he can enter one in Haryana. He enjoys playing with the other children. Prayer Request: Mithulesh suffers from a persistent cough. Please pray that he will get better. |
