Kushbu: Age: 4 years old: Kushbu is from a tribal village in Bihar, an area without electricity, hospitals, or schools. Both of her parents are alive. Her father is a pastor and her mother is a housewife. She has two sisters. Kushbu only speaks a tribal language, so she needs to learn Hindi before she can go to school. She has no prior education. She is very quiet and very shy, but she is obedient and eats all of her food. When Kushbu first came to Asha, she cried a lot. Though she is still nervous at being separated from her family, she has begun to smile a lot more. |
