Bagawan will just tug on your heart strings every time that you look at him.  Being one of the youngest boys, he is deeply cared for and loved by everyone.  He is doing very well in his personal studies at the orphanage and we all believe that he will do very well when he becomes old enough to enter school.  Please continue to pray for his studies and for his relationship with God!

Bagawan: Age: 4 years old: Bagawan is from a tribal village in Bihar, an area without electricity, hospitals, or schools. Both of his parents are alive and work in the fields making small salaries—too small to support a family. He has one brother, and his entire Hindu family lives with his grandparents. Bagavan only speaks a tribal language, so he has to learn Hindi before he can go to school. He was extremely malnourished when he first came to Asha House, but now he is able to eat all of the food that is on his plate. Though this little boy is quiet, he does interact with a few of the other children.
